What the role is:
  
We are seeking a highly motivated, driven, results-oriented Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team to support our continual business growth. They are responsible for supporting the company’s recruitment efforts by:
  • Interviewing and onboarding candidates
  • Matching candidates to open jobs
  • Growing existing business
  • Managing your employees and their placements
  • Manage live database in our applicant tracking system (updating notes/statuses, candidate summaries, etc.)
Working as part of an experienced team you will benefit from working alongside a Recruitment Resourcer – dedicated to finding you the best candidates in the market – and a Sales Account Manager whose role is to bring in the new business.  This allows you to focus on interviewing and building lasting relationships with candidates in the construction space.
  
In addition to these recruitment duties, you will also be tasked with some business development, specifically in growing existing business.

What you need to succeed:
  • Strong understanding of the full recruitment cycle
  • A real passion for people
  • General computer literacy (MS Office, CRM, online research, etc.)
  • Ability to screen candidates thoroughly yet efficiently
  • Experience in customer/client-facing role(s)
  • Results-oriented and process-oriented focus
  • Proven ability to work towards a deadline
  • Ability to type notes in real time
  • Knowledge of the construction industry a plus
  • Works with a sense of urgency
  • Experience working towards and achieving business targets a plus
  • Proven experience in business development
  • Ability to commit to our hours of work (Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm)
You will be a proven billing recruiter (ideally running or be part of a temp desk operation). Be driven by exceeding targets and be able to demonstrate a passion for sales. As part of your role you will build proactive candidate pipelines, maintain and develop lasting professional relationships at all levels with both our clients and candidates.
